Die LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH entstand 1995 durch ein Management-Buy-out eines Geschäftsfeldes der ehemaligen Leuna Werke. Die LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH verfügt über mehr als sechs Jahrzehnte Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Tensidchemie. 1942 wurde auf dem jetzigen Territorium der LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH die weltweit erste Produktionsanlage zur Herstellung von Alkansulfonaten in Betrieb genommen.

Die LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH verfügt am Industriestandort Leuna - auf einem Areal von 130.000 m² - über verschiedene großtechnische Chemieanlagen:

Die Produkte werden an eigenen Verladestationen als lose Ware in Kesselwagen, Straßentankzüge und Isocontainer gefüllt, und in verpackter Form aus 3 Lagern in Waggons, Planzüge und Container verladen.

Die LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH ist Mitglied der Fachverbände: VCI, TEGEWA, SEPAWA und Euro Chlor.

The LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH was founded in 1995 through a Management buy-out part of a business area of the former Leuna-Werke. The LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH has more than six decades experience of surfactant chemistry. The first production plant for alkane sulfonates worldwide has been set up in Leuna.

The LEUNA-TENSIDE GmbH at the industrial site Leuna, operates various large-scale industrial chemical plants on 130,000 square metres:

· Fractionation / Distillation

· High Pressure Hydrogenation

· Ethoxylation/ Propoxylation

· Esterification

· Fatty Acid Condensation

· Sulfo Chlorination

· Chlorination

The products are filled as bulk liquid material in railway tankers, bulk and Isocontainers at own loading stations and are loaded in packed form from 3 storage facilities in railway wagons, lorries and containers.
